Brave Iranian Christians Risk Their Lives To Share The Gospel Amid Regime Oppression
Iran, one of the world’s most dangerous places for believers, is experiencing a remarkable spiritual revival, according to reports highlighted by former White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany. On her FOX News show, Saturday in America, McEnany shared stories from Iranian Christians whose faith shines even under the threat of death.
“Believers in Iran are full of the Holy Spirit. They are courageous. They are out there… Some of them are dying for Jesus,” said Hormoz Shariat, an Iranian Christian leader, in an interview with McEnany. “When you come from darkness to light, you appreciate the light.”
McEnany also shared the testimony of Lana, a young Christian who grew up in Iran. While the regime forced schoolchildren to chant “Death to America,” Lana, just eight years old at the time, boldly shared the Good News. “Why would I hide [my faith]? It is life-giving truth,” she told McEnany.
These stories highlight the profound courage of believers living under oppressive regimes, and the transformative power of the Gospel even in the darkest circumstances. Despite facing persecution, Iranian Christians are contributing to one of the fastest-growing underground churches in the world, showing the unstoppable work of God’s Spirit.
