Respond To God’s Divine Love By Sharing The Gospel And Living With Eternal Purpose
God didn’t create love. God is love, who was and is and always will be (Revelation 1:8). His love never changes and never ends, having “no variableness, neither shadow of turning” (James 1:17). Holy, Holy, Holy speaks to the purity, separateness and divineness of God’s love for you (Revelation 4:11).
Have you considered how God knows everything about you and never wavers in His love for you? “O Lord, you have examined my heart and know everything about me… You know what I am going to say before I say it… You go before me and follow me… I can never escape your Spirit… I can never get away… how precious are your thoughts about me… they outnumber the grains of sand” (Psalms 139).
“Nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God” (Romans 8:38). No matter how far you’ve wandered, what you’ve done or how alone you feel, God will “never leave you… never… forsake you” (Hebrews 13:5). He doesn’t love you to the end — God loves you forever (Romans 2:11).
So how do you love God back? Jesus said: “If you love me, obey My commandments” (John 14:15). When asked which is the most important commandment, Jesus said (Mark 12:30) loving your neighbor as yourself (being as concerned for their salvation as you are your own) is equal to loving Him and, astoundingly, fulfills everything He requires of you for the entirety of your life.
Whatever you love most is what you most talk about! God knows how much you love Him by how much you talk about Him and lead people to Him… with time running out. The last lap of the race is called the “Gun Lap,” where dedicated runners give their all to win the race.
This is where every dedicated Christian is at this moment — giving their all to win as many people as possible to the Lord before time runs out and they hear God say, “Well done thou good and faithful servant, enter thou into the Joy of the Lord” (Matthew 25:21).
The absurdity of loving the temporary of this world versus the eternity of Heaven is satanic. Satan “blinded the minds of unbelievers” (2 Corinthians 4:4), making them see “evil is good and good is evil” (Isaiah 5:20). There’s no other explanation why anyone would love this temporary, godless world and ignore God’s gift of Eternal Life.
The time for casual Christianity is over. Your position in Heaven, and whether those you influence will make it to Heaven, are hanging in the balance. This is deadly serious and ecstatically exciting. Now is the time that tries men’s souls!
Sharing your faith is the antidote against casual Christianity that embraces the same language, worries, indulgences and appearance of those who hate God. This is why so many “Christians” have switched allegiance to “Christian” causes where they never need to think about winning the lost. It’s called “having a form of Godliness, but denying the power thereof” (II Timothy 3:5).
If Christians directed as much time and resources to winning the lost as we do to fighting abortion and human trafficking, all of which need our help, we’d be a Christian nation again. If the end goal of your ministry is NOT leading people to Jesus, it’s of no value to God.
Jesus reserved His second most luxurious promise, after John 3:16, to making everything in your life work for good when you love your neighbors as yourself — when you seek and save the lost — when you move everyone, every day, closer to Jesus. This is God’s only requirement!
“Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God” (2 Corinthians 5:20).“Do not bring sorrow to God’s Holy Spirit by the way you live” (Ephesians 4:30). “How can righteousness be a partner with wickedness?” (2 Corinthians 6:13-15)
“Come out from among unbelievers and separate yourselves from them… don’t touch their filthy things and I will welcome you(2 Corinthians 6:17). Do not be “a stumbling block” (Romans 14:13). “Abstain from all appearances of evil”(1 Thessalonians 5:22). “All things are lawful for me… but all things edify not(I Corinthians 10:23).
Tragically, the Church has stopped preaching this message and is robbing earthly inheritance and eternal rewards. When you live your life honoring God to seek and save the lost, souls are saved, rewards are earned and the distractions of this world fade away.
This is not religious purgatory! This is where wholehearted faith (Romans 8:28), leads to joy filled days (John 15:11), God answering your prayers (James 1:4), directing your steps (Proverbs 3:5), giving you the words to say when you need them (Luke 12:12), and experiencing intimacy with God (Isaiah 43:10) in anticipation of the crowns and rewards you’ll receive because of those you’ve led to the Lord (1 Thessalonians 2:9).
There’s nothing more exciting than God leading you into conversations, having the Holy Spirit give you the words to say as they share their needs, and watching them be transformed in front of your eyes. That’s intimacy with God! This is when God’s Divine Love ignites your life and defeats fear effortlessly!
This is what being a Christian is all about!
