The New Documentary Chronicles The Faith, Pain, And Purpose Behind One Of The World’s Most Influential Christian Voices
Born without arms or legs, Nick Vujicic has spent decades defying expectations while sharing a message of faith, hope, and perseverance around the world. Now, his life story is coming to movie theaters nationwide in a new documentary, No Limbs, No Limits: The NickV Story, arriving in theaters September 25 through Fathom Entertainment.
The film tells the remarkable story of the Aussie-American evangelist whose life began with uncertainty and unimaginable obstacles. When Vujicic was born, doctors offered little clarity about what his future might look like. Yet today, he is widely known as a bestselling author, entrepreneur, husband, father of four, and one of the world’s most recognizable motivational speakers and Christian evangelists.
The documentary traces not only his public success, but also the painful personal battles that shaped his journey.
As a child, Vujicic endured severe bullying and deep isolation, experiences that led to overwhelming depression. At just 10 years old, he attempted to take his own life.
“I wondered what purpose my life could possibly have,” Vujicic said. “But I realized that if I ended my life, I would leave my family with even greater pain. I saw in my mind my mom and my dad and my brother crying at my grave, and that one thought saved me. That realization changed everything.”
According to the film, a key turning point came during high school when someone recognized Vujicic’s unusual ability to encourage and inspire others. At 17, he began speaking publicly—a calling that would eventually take him to more than 83 countries, where he has spoken to millions and met with dozens of world leaders, including presidents, vice presidents, and prime ministers.
The film’s creators say No Limbs, No Limits offers a deeper look at the man behind the platform, using never-before-seen family footage and interviews with people who helped shape his life.
“Nick Vujicic’s life story is both extraordinary and deeply moving, offering audiences a powerful message of resilience, faith and purpose,” said Ray Nutt, Chief Executive Officer at Fathom Entertainment. “Fathom is proud to partner with Sypher Studios, Reserve Entertainment and eKKL Entertainment to bring ‘No Limbs, No Limits: The NickV Story’ to theatres nationwide, where this inspiring journey can be experienced together on the big screen.”
The documentary comes from the team behind several faith-based film successes. Production companies include Sypher Studios—known for After Death, one of the highest-grossing faith documentaries—and Reserve Entertainment, whose credits include Blue Miracle and Sight. The film is directed by Matthew Thayer and supported through a crowdfunding campaign alongside Good Works Hub.
The release is also being supported by eKKL Entertainment, a new distribution company focused on faith-based and family-friendly films.
Tickets for No Limbs, No Limits: The NickV Story are expected to go on sale August 14 through participating theaters and online via Fathom Entertainment.
