U.S. “Will Finish the Job”
WASHINGTON, D.C. — President Trump delivered a national address Wednesday night outlining the state of the ongoing war with Iran, projecting confidence in U.S. military progress while signaling continued force in the weeks ahead.
In a firm and at times stark message, Trump told the nation that American forces are close to achieving their objectives.
“We are on the cusp of ending Iran’s sinister threat to America and the world,” the President said. “We have all the cards. They have none.”
The president emphasized that the campaign has already delivered significant battlefield results, describing what he called “swift, decisive, overwhelming victories” by U.S. forces.
“We’re Going to Finish the Job”
Despite signaling progress, Trump made clear the conflict is not yet over. He warned that additional military action is expected as the administration pushes toward final objectives.
“We are going to finish the job, and we’re going to finish it very fast,” Trump said.
He added that the U.S. would continue striking Iran if necessary, underscoring a strategy rooted in sustained pressure rather than immediate withdrawal.
At the same time, Trump suggested the war may be nearing its end, telling Americans the operation is “nearing completion” as key targets have been weakened.
Strength and Resolve
Throughout the address, the president framed the conflict as essential to national and global security, expressing confidence in both U.S. leadership and the military.
“In these past four weeks, our armed forces have delivered… victories like few people have ever seen before,” Trump said, highlighting what he described as unprecedented success on the battlefield.
He also reiterated that the United States is prepared to escalate if needed, warning that future strikes could intensify if Iran does not change course
A Critical Moment in the Conflict
The address comes as the war enters a decisive phase, with heightened global concern about escalation across the Middle East. While the administration projects confidence, questions remain about how and when the conflict will ultimately conclude.
Trump’s message to the nation was clear: the U.S. will press forward.
“We’re going to finish the job,” he said.
