Citywide giving campaign culminates today with hundreds of nonprofits participating
Long Beach Gives is bringing donors together today for its annual 24-hour giving day, with 305 nonprofit organizations listed in this year’s campaign.
The citywide online fundraising effort supports organizations working across a wide range of causes. Long Beach Rescue Mission is among the participating organizations and is seeing a strong response from supporters. Donations to the Mission help support meals, shelter and programs serving people experiencing homelessness in Long Beach.
Giving-day donations remain eligible for a series of prizes through midnight, including awards tied to dollars raised, unique donors and designated Power Hour periods.
