The President says a photo of Trump National Doral was altered to make the property look run-down; The New York Times denies manipulating the image.

President Trump is accusing The New York Times of altering a photograph of Trump National Doral in Miami to make the resort appear poorly maintained.
In a Truth Social post Monday, Trump said the newspaper published an image in which the facade had been “blackened” and “denigrated” to make the property look “shoddy, filthy, and just plain BAD.” He posted a second photograph that he said more accurately showed the resort’s appearance.
Trump characterized the disputed image as “doctored” and described the episode as another example of what he calls “Artificial News.”
The New York Times disputes the allegation. A Times spokesperson told the Daily Beast that the photograph had not been manipulated. The disputed image was taken by a Times photographer in 2020.
Trump National Doral is home to the Blue Monster golf course and is among the President’s best-known properties.
