Organizers say local churches are planning follow-up after a weekend gathering in Whitmire.
World Harvest Ministry says children and teenagers responded to the Gospel and were baptized during a September 26–27 outreach in Whitmire, South Carolina.
In an account published by CBN News October 1, the ministry described young people praying together while parents watched their children profess faith in Jesus.
Evangelist Jacob Ebersole said churches, volunteers and residents worked together throughout the weekend. Community members also helped restore power after a generator failed before the opening service.
According to the ministry, a father who helped during that emergency later attended the outreach, where both his children professed faith and were baptized.
Organizers say local pastors are discussing discipleship and follow-up, particularly for younger participants. The ministry’s account did not provide a final baptism total.
