Organizers report 10,400 attendees and hundreds responding to the Gospel invitation at Co-op Live.
Franklin Graham urged thousands gathered in Manchester, England, on October 3 to turn from sin and place their faith in Jesus Christ during his God Loves You Tour.
The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association reported that 10,400 people attended the event at Co-op Live and hundreds responded to Graham’s invitation. Those figures come from the organization.
“Are you ready to stand before God?” Graham asked during a message centered on forgiveness, repentance and salvation through Christ.
Drawing from the biblical account of Lot’s escape from Sodom, Graham urged listeners not to cling to the lives they were being called to leave behind. He said growing up in a Christian family or attending church does not replace personally trusting in Jesus.
Graham also spoke about his own experience, saying he did not commit his life to Christ until age 22 despite being raised in a prominent Christian household.
The gathering included music from Michael W. Smith, Charity Gayle and Faith Child.
According to BGEA, trained counselors prayed with people who responded, provided Bibles and follow-up materials, and helped connect them with local churches for discipleship.
