The show also features an all-star cast, including Ali Suliman (Jack Ryan) as the tormented King Saul, Ayelet Zurer (Man of Steel) as Queen Ahinoam, and Stephen Lang (Avatar: The Way of Water) as the prophet Samuel, who anoints David as God’s chosen king.
The series explores the downfall of King Saul, whose pride and disobedience lead to his unraveling, and the unexpected rise of David, a shepherd boy anointed in secret.
