A passport challenge encourages customers to explore 11 participating shops and collect rewards through October 17.

Your next boba stop could introduce you to a different corner of Irvine.

The city is highlighting Bobapalooza, a promotion that encourages customers to visit participating shops, make purchases and collect passport stamps. The challenge runs August 17–October 17, according to the City of Irvine.

How the challenge works

Collecting six stamps qualifies participants for a Destination Irvine tote. Completing all 11 participating locations adds a hat and an entry into a drawing for a one-night stay at Marriott Irvine Spectrum.

The hotel prize includes parking and breakfast. The winner must be at least 18 to claim it, and the city says the drawing winner will be announced October 22. Rewards are subject to eligibility verification and available supplies.

The promotion gives residents a reason to try a shop outside their usual routine while supporting participating businesses.

Check the official Bobapalooza information page for the passport, shop list and redemption instructions before starting. Purchases are required to collect stamps, so budget for the stops you want to make.
