Construction between Wilson and Victoria streets includes new pavement, striping and utility adjustments.
Costa Mesa residents around Maple Street should expect construction activity and temporary traffic and parking restrictions as the city continues roadway improvements between Wilson Street and Victoria Street.
Work includes grinding existing pavement, replacing damaged sections, installing new asphalt, adjusting utilities and restriping the roadway. Construction is scheduled Monday through Friday between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m.
What residents should know
Portions of the roadway may be temporarily restricted while work is underway. Residents should watch for posted no-parking signs and increased construction equipment and noise.
The city is asking residents to keep trash cans, debris and runoff water out of the roadway during construction. Questions about the project can be directed to Costa Mesa Public Works.
