No Words to Describe ‘Shift In Consciousness’ Experienced on Artemis II
HOUSTON, TX — Artemis II just landed last Friday and the four astronauts (NASA astronauts Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, Christina Koch, and CSA (Canadian Space Agency) astronaut Jeremy Hansen) who completed the historic mission are now sharing their stories of their 10 day experience in space and the consensus was – it was truly out of this world. Prompted by a question about shift in consciousness that he crew experienced while up in space from Kristin Fisher of “The Endless Void”, Artemis II commander Reid Wiseman, who said he is not a religious person, asked for the Navy Chaplain to come visit the crew to help process what they had just experienced. said as soon as he saw the cross on his neck, he broke down crying.
“Its very hard to grasp what we have just went through”
Wiseman said the moment that stuck with him the most was when the sun eclipsed behind the moon, “I don’t think humanity has evolved enough to comprehend what we are looking at right now because it was otherworldly it was amazing,” said Wiseman.
Victor Glover agreed. It was out of this world and amazing. Glover, who shared that he is a religious person, agreed with the assessment of the experience but said he is still processing and will share more next week. “There is something there but haven’t had a chance to unpack it yet.”
The crew became the first astronauts in over 50 years to travel beyond low Earth orbit and around the Moon since the Apollo era.
The Scriptures tell us that the heavens declare the glory of God and the skies proclaim the works of his hands. Clearly being this close to the work of God in space caused the astronauts to see creation in a whole new light.
