Volunteers Urgently Needed to Bring Relief and Hope to Devastated Communities
A deadly tornado tore through London and Somerset, Kentucky over the weekend, leaving at least nineteen dead and countless families grappling with the wreckage of their homes and communities. As the region reels from this tragedy, Crisis Response International (CRI) is stepping in to deliver critical aid and hope to those in need.
CRI has already dispatched an assessment team and a Mobile Kitchen Unit to coordinate relief efforts on the ground. However, the scale of the disaster demands more hands on deck. The organization is urgently calling for volunteers to join the deployment and assist in providing food, shelter, and support to affected residents.
“We’re mobilizing quickly to bring relief to London and Somerset,” said Sean Malone, CRI’s director. “This is a moment for ordinary people to become true heroes by serving those who’ve lost so much.”
