Christian teacher Amanda Grace is sounding the alarm for believers today, urging the church to sharpen its discernment as false prophets and deceptive voices multiply in what she believes is a critical moment in history. The founder of Ark of Grace Ministries, Grace in her new book, The Revelationary War, is drawing attention to the spiritual, digital, and mental battles intensifying across the globe, framing them as signs of the times that demand vigilance from the body of Christ.

“The war of deflection that dominates media and political arenas today began in the garden of Eden,” Grace said, pointing to an nefarious strategy of twisting truth—a tactic she believes is now amplified through modern technology and media. She describes a world where lies turn into truth and truth into lies, drowning out genuine voices of truth with a flood of distortion. Grace calls this struggle a “Revelationary War” that has entered “the colosseum of technology throughout the earth,” where millions of voices on social media bury truth beneath layers of deception.

Perpetual Distraction

Grace warns that the battle isn’t always outright destruction but perpetual distraction. She sees this as a continuation of the serpent’s manipulation of Eve, with the “mindless masses” now caught in a deflection war waged through media channels. “The devil, after all, doesn’t need us to be completely destroyed if we are always distracted,” she cautions. For Grace, these developments signal a pivotal moment where believers must recognize the enemy’s schemes and stand firm.

To combat this rising tide of falsehood, Grace stresses the importance of rooting out invasive influences that threaten spiritual fruitfulness. “If we don’t weed and tear up out of our lives what is invasive—what comes to steal, kill, and destroy—it will take over and destroy the fruit we are meant to bear as children of the Most High God,” Grace stated. Her message is clear: the church must awaken to the signs of the times and actively discern truth from lies.
