Local business owners describe months-long disputes over commercial trash service
Two Costa Mesa businesses say they continued receiving bills from Ware Disposal after attempting to cancel commercial trash service, according to reporting by the Daily Pilot.
Bay Auto Service owner Joe Miracle said his September balance reached nearly $2,000 after he sought to end service earlier this year. A nearby Maaco operator described a separate dispute in which accumulated charges reached roughly $5,000.
Ware Disposal has cited cancellation requirements tied to its agreement with the city. The dispute highlights costs and contractual issues small businesses can face when changing commercial waste providers.
