Six new buildings significantly expand specialized healthcare available in Orange County
Hoag has officially opened its expanded Sun Family Campus at Hoag Hospital Irvine, completing a $1 billion expansion of the medical campus.

The project adds six buildings, 155 inpatient beds, 11 operating rooms and 120,000 square feet of ambulatory facilities.
The campus brings together specialized cancer, women’s health, digestive health and surgical care and includes Orange County’s first dedicated Cancer Urgent Care facility.
A new Women’s Hospital also includes a 24-hour obstetric emergency department and a 17-bed Level III neonatal intensive care unit.
The expansion brings Hoag Hospital Irvine to 251 inpatient beds and represents one of Orange County’s largest recent healthcare investments.
