Trump Targets Pro-Hamas Agitators in Crackdown on Anti-Jewish Sentiment

A U.S. judge on Monday hit the brakes—for now—on deporting Mahmoud Khalil, a Palestinian Columbia University student nabbed by immigration agents as President Donald Trump ramps up his strategy to protect Jews on college campuses. Trump spoke out on TRUTH Social about Khalil, calling him a “Radical Foreign Pro-Hamas Student,” and for his prominent figure in a campus movement that critics say follows Hamas’s genocidal playbook against Jews.

Green Card Resident

Khalil, a green card holding resident until his Saturday arrest, was whisked to a federal migrant jail in Louisiana, awaiting expulsion proceedings. Trump didn’t mince words, calling him a threat to U.S. interests and promising more arrests are on the way. “This is just the start,” the president warned on social media for those who want to disrupt our schools and target Jewish students. Hamas, the terrorist outfit behind the slaughter of Jews and a charter swearing their destruction, seems to have found a fan in Khalil—and shockingly he’s not alone.

Hundreds of his backers took to New York City’s streets Monday, waving placards and tangling with cops in lower Manhattan. At least one got hauled off, per eyewitnesses. First Occupy Wall Street, then BLM, Free Palestine, the continuous disorder begs the question, who is funding these people? The protest echoed last year’s Columbia-led chaos, where pro-Palestinian students—cheered on by Khalil—pushed a narrative that’s less about peace and more about hating Jews, critics charge. The ACLU and New York’s attorney general cried “free speech,” but to many, it’s a flimsy cover for terror sympathies.

Terrorist Sympathizers

Khalil’s lawyer complained about rights violations, noting he’s not charged with a crime. The judge’s temporary stay only delays the inevitable, with a hearing set for Wednesday. Trump’s stance is clear: no room in America for those cozying up to Hamas’s kill-the-Jews agenda.

Khalil’s fate hangs in the balance. For many he’s a terrorist sympathizer who’s overstayed his welcome. Wednesday could seal the deal.
