William Owens is a Christian poet, author, and international cycling missionary known as the “Of the Heart Poet.” Following a life-altering season of personal loss and spiritual renewal, he began writing poetry that centers on God’s love, grace, and redemption. What started as a twenty-one-day fast evolved into a global ministry expressed through books, music, street poetry, and long-distance bike journeys across the United States and Asia. Owens is the author of fifteen books, including Naked Before God, Warriors Arise, and Journey by Faith. Through his ongoing “Exposing My Heart” poetry bike journey, he travels city to city sharing spoken-word poetry, music, and personal testimony, calling people to discover the transformative love of Christ.
