Second round of OCDE program opens Oct. 7 for projects addressing student needs
Orange County school districts will soon have another opportunity to seek funding for innovative programs aimed at improving student outcomes.
The Orange County Department of Education’s second Innovation Funding Initiative application period opens Oct. 7.
Eligible TK-12 districts can seek up to $525,000 per project over three years for initiatives designed to address unmet student needs and improve educational outcomes.
The initiative is intended to give local educators resources to test and expand new approaches that could eventually be replicated elsewhere in Orange County.
The funding creates a significant opportunity for districts seeking resources beyond their traditional operating budgets.
