The event, which took place outside Curl Market, was more than just a gathering—it was a revival. Kevin Walsh, who attended the event, captured the moment on TikTok, expressing his awe at what he witnessed. “Ohio State Football is making a difference❤️ I can barely put to words how amazing this Jesus revival is on the Ohio State University campus,” Walsh shared. “Countless attendees surrendered their lives to Jesus Christ, and professed their faith through water baptism.”
Emeka Egbuka Shared His Excitement
One of the standout voices from the event was Emeka Egbuka, a wide receiver for the Buckeyes, who shared his excitement with The Lantern. “We were praying for years and years for an event like this, and we were praying with expectation—we serve a miracle-working God,” Egbuka said. “So we definitely had an expectation when it came out, but God did increasingly and abundantly more than what we thought. So, we’re just so blessed and thankful.”
The event is a significant moment for the Ohio State campus, reflecting the deep faith and leadership of the football team. As the Buckeyes continue their journey on the field, they are also making an eternal impact off the field, inspiring many to seek a deeper relationship with Christ.
