IHOP-KC immediately, formally, and permanently separates from Mike Bickle
More scandals are unfolding in Kansas City even as the 24×7 prayer ministry made the decision earlier this month to permanently separate from Mike Bickle amid substantial allegations of sexual misconduct and a written confession by Bickle, owning up to some of the accusations.
Amid the allegations against Bickle, several other allegations against the Mission’s base as a whole, and their handling of prior situations. Amid the shake-up, Stuart Greaves, Executive Director and board member, announced his resignation from the ministry as the prayer ministry faces multiple challenges.
Greaves has been a part of the community at IHOP-KC including 23 years of service at the missions base. Eric Volz of The David House Agency and acting communication director for IHOP-KC stated in a video announcement on X, “Words can not describe the impact this man has made at IHOP-KC community over the last 23 years. Thousands of people’s lives have been impacted by his teaching, leadership, and love for Jesus.”
The interim Executive Director has been General Kurt Fuller who is temporarily assuming the responsibilities.
Volz also stated that due to the level of inappropriate behavior on the part of Mike Bickle that requires IHOP-KC to immediately, formally, and permanently separate from him,” the video statement by Volz stated online.
Since the allegations against Bickle broke, a number of layers and at least four categories of allegations have come to light. X user Joanna Lee @Joannathelee who described the situation at IHOP in the following terms. “There are four very separate categories of allegations being mixed together, causing extremely muddy thoughts and muddy emotions to emerge right now,” she wrote online. “Clarity of mind and emotion is imperative to discovering the truth.”
@Joannathelee went on to describe the layers of issues emerging out of the 24×7 prayer ministry in Kansas City.

- Allegations of a generally unhealthy relational environment within IHOPKC
- Allegations of criminal misuse of funds/criminal abuse within IHOP-KC (apart from Mike Bickle)
These layers of issues surfaced after the initial investigation into Mike Bickle and his corresponding confession online that some of the sin he is being accused of is in fact real.
