The faith-centered drama follows a teenage rocker whose ambitions are challenged after a mysterious voice tells him to “run.”
A new faith-centered drama featuring the music of legendary Christian rock band Petra is now streaming on Angel.
Beyond Belief is set in the 1980s and follows Andy, an aspiring teenage rock star grieving the death of his father. When he hears a mysterious voice urging him to “run,” the experience launches him into an unexpected journey that challenges his ambitions and tests his faith.
The film stars Carson Lueders as Andy and features Petra’s music throughout the story. Petra members Bob Hartman and John Schlitt also joined Lueders for an Angel livestream surrounding the film’s launch.
Angel describes the film as a story about hearing God’s voice, trusting His plan and discovering that His purposes may be bigger than our own ambitions.
Beyond Belief began streaming on Angel on Oct. 1. The film is rated PG and runs 1 hour, 56 minutes.
