Historic Baptism Events to Unite Churches for Revival in California and Across the Nation
In a powerful continuation of last year’s historic movement, Baptize California is returning on May 3, aiming to unite churches across the Golden State for the largest synchronized baptism event in history. Following closely, the newly launched Baptize America on June 8, will expand this vision nationwide, calling believers from all 50 states to join in a monumental declaration of faith.
A Statewide Spiritual Renewal
Led by Pastor Mark Francey of Oceans Church, Baptize California has evolved from a single-location event into a statewide revival. On May 3, churches across California will host simultaneous baptisms, fostering unity and spiritual awakening. Reflecting on last year’s success, Pastor Francey said, “Last year, we saw history made as believers across California stepped into the waters of baptism. We believe 2025 will be even greater. God is not done with California, and we are seeing a hunger for revival like never before.”
The flagship gathering will take place this year in Huntington Beach with musicians including Kari Jobe, Cody Carnes, and Bethel Music.
A National Call to Faith
Building on the momentum of Baptize California, Baptize America will launch on June 8, mobilizing churches nationwide for a synchronized baptism event. This historic initiative seeks to unite believers in a shared mission of revival. Pastor Francey emphasized the movement’s purpose, stating, “Our mission is simple – unite the church, turn fully back to Jesus, and see our nation transformed. If we stand together, we believe we will witness a powerful spiritual awakening across America.”
