GRAMMY® Winner’s Deeply Personal Album Reflects Growing Movement of Faith in American Culture
In a time when faith is becoming an increasingly central theme across America, GRAMMY® award-winning artist Zach Williams is helping lead the charge with the announcement of his most personal album yet: Jesus Loves, releasing September 19.
The 12-track album, titled after his latest Top 10 radio single, showcases Williams’ gritty Southern rock style infused with unflinching honesty and a powerful message of redemption. “I’ve always believed in writing songs for real people who are going through real things,” Williams said. “This album is an invitation for the misfits, the church kids, and the prodigals and is a reminder that no matter your story, you’re already loved.”
One of the standout new tracks, “Killed A Man,” is now available for streaming, accompanied by a compelling lyric video on YouTube. From the chart-rising title track “Jesus Loves” to fan favorites like “Friend In High Places,” the album pulses with themes of grace, grit, and the relentless love of Christ.
Williams has carved out a distinct voice in Christian music by being unafraid to meet listeners where they are, telling real-life stories through a spiritual lens. His testimony and music continue to resonate far beyond church walls. This album follows the success of A Hundred Highways and his 2024 extended edition, which featured collaborations with Lee Brice and the legendary Dolly Parton.
Williams’ 2020 duet with Parton, There Was Jesus, became a cultural milestone. The track, which earned Platinum certification, topped Pandora’s Top Spins chart for twelve straight weeks, and was performed at the 53rd CMA Awards. The collaboration not only united two powerful voices but signaled a growing openness to faith-based content in mainstream entertainment.
As artists like Zach Williams bring unapologetically Christian themes to wider audiences, it’s clear the appetite for music grounded in faith is growing. With 1.5 billion on-demand streams and multiple gold and platinum records to his name, Williams’ influence continues to expand across generations.
Fans will get a chance to experience the new songs live during the Revival Nights Tour this October, where Williams will be joined by We The Kingdom, Leanna Crawford, and Ben Fuller in cities across the nation.
In addition to his music, Williams has also become an author. His book Rescue Story: Faith, Freedom, and Finding My Way Home and children’s picture book A Little More Like Jesus are available now.
Zach Williams’ new project is more than an album—it’s a call to come home, a reminder that no one is too far gone for the love of Christ.
