Kenneth Abramowitz Sounds the Alarm on Global Threats to Democracy and Calls for a Renewed Commitment to Western Values
In a time of geopolitical upheaval and cultural uncertainty, Kenneth Abramowitz—author, venture capitalist, and founder of SaveTheWest.com—has emerged as a leading voice in defending democracy and Western civilization. His book, The Multi-Front War: Defending America from Political Islam, China, Russia, Pandemics, and Racial Strife, lays bare the existential threats democracies face and calls for urgent action.
In a recent interview with Thrive News, Abramowitz provided a stark assessment of the global balance of power, the rise of dictatorships, and what democracies must do to safeguard their way of life.
Democracies vs. Dictatorships: A Battle of Ideologies
Abramowitz began by highlighting a startling fact: of the 193 countries in the United Nations, roughly half are dictatorships. “Democracies, in theory, believe in life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness for 100% of the people,” he explained. “Dictatorships, on the other hand, only provide these rights to about 10% of the population—the elites and their allies.”

This fundamental ideological divide has fueled what Abramowitz terms “World War III,” an ongoing struggle between democratic and authoritarian regimes. “Dictatorships have declared war on democracies,” he stated. “It’s time we act as though we’re in a state of war and respond accordingly.”
Predicting Chaos and a New Renaissance
Looking ahead, Abramowitz predicted a period of extreme global turbulence. “The next six months will be critical as democracies and dictatorships clash,” he said. Yet, he remains hopeful about the potential for a renaissance of Western civilization, driven by a strengthened alliance between the United States and Israel.
“Together, these nations can lead the charge in defeating the forces of evil,” he asserted. “This partnership could usher in a new era of strength and unity for democracies worldwide.”
Confronting the Multi-Front War
Abramowitz’s book identifies multiple fronts in the war against democracy, including threats from political Islam, China, Russia, pandemics, and internal social strife. He emphasized that democracies must break free from their tendency to operate in “Lala Land.”
“Ninety-eight percent of the time, democracies ignore their enemies, focusing instead on internal subsidies and comforts,” he said. “Only in moments of crisis, like Pearl Harbor or 9/11, do they rise to the occasion. But we can’t afford to live in a state of complacency. We must remain vigilant.”
Reforming Global Institutions
Abramowitz was particularly critical of international organizations like the United Nations and the World Economic Forum, accusing them of enabling dictatorships. “Why would democracies share a table with regimes that oppress their own people?” he asked. “Half of the UN’s member states are dictatorships. That’s like inviting lions, tigers, and bears to a human dinner party. It’s absurd.”
He proposed that only democratic nations should participate in such global organizations, arguing that allowing dictatorships a seat at the table undermines the very principles these institutions claim to uphold.
Preparing for 2025: The Iran Factor
Abramowitz’s predictions for 2025 include a sharp focus on Iran, which he described as a “professional death cult.” He argued that the United States and its allies must take decisive action to curb Iran’s nuclear ambitions and influence.
“Iran has publicly declared war on Judeo-Christian nations, calling for genocide against both America and Israel,” he said. “We can’t dismiss these threats as mere rhetoric. Democracies must stand united and send a clear message: this behavior will not be tolerated.”
A Rallying Cry for Democracies
Abramowitz’s message is clear: the survival of democracy and Western civilization depends on recognizing and confronting the threats posed by authoritarian regimes. He called on leaders and citizens alike to act with urgency and resolve.
“We have the power to shape the future,” he concluded. “But it requires vigilance, courage, and a willingness to confront evil head-on. The time to act is now.”
