Cyberattacks and protests escalate against Musk’s empire, with political groups allegedly fueling coordinated efforts against Tesla and 𝕏
On 𝕏, Elon Musk himself confirmed that the platform is under a cyberattack. “We get attacked every day, but this was done with a lot of resources,” Musk tweeted, adding that the attack appeared to involve “either a large, coordinated group and/or a country.” He went on to clarify that the origins of the attack are still under investigation, but the scale and sophistication of the assault indicate significant external involvement.

Meanwhile, protests and violent incidents happened in several Democrat run cities at Tesla dealerships. Over the weekend, reports surfaced of demonstrators targeting Tesla locations and vehicles, with shocking footage of Cybertrucks being set on fire in Seattle and protests in NYC. According to an X post by @amuse, these protests were allegedly coordinated by multiple Democrat-aligned NGOs, with the aim of undermining Tesla’s operations. The post accused these groups of resorting to increasingly desperate and violent measures to protest the electric vehicle company’s success.
Desperate & Violent
“Democrats are becoming increasingly more desperate and violent,” @amuse wrote, fueling speculation that the political motivations behind these protests and attacks could be far-reaching.
The attack on 𝕏 and the protests at Tesla dealerships seem to align with a small percentage and pockets of political opposition to Musk’s influence and cuts at DOGE.
In his statement, Musk emphasized the severity of the ongoing attack on 𝕏, acknowledging that the platform faces daily threats. “Tracing…” Musk noted, hinting that further details may emerge as investigations continue.
In response to the coordinated attacks, Musk posted this weekend shining light on an investigation into Democrat founder, ActBlue. “An investigation has found 5 ActBlue-funded groups responsible for Tesla “protests”: Troublemakers, Disruption Project, Rise & Resist, Indivisible Project and Democratic Socialists of America,” Musk wrote. “ActBlue funders include George Soros, Reid Hoffman, Herbert Sandler, Patricia Bauman, and Leah Hunt-Hendrix. ActBlue is currently under investigation for allowing foreign and illegal donations in criminal violation of campaign finance regulations. This week, 7 ActBlue senior officials resigned, including the associate general counsel. If you know anything about this, please post in replies. Thanks, Elon.”
Hoffman Denies Involvement
Hoffman denies any involvement in funding the Tesla protests. “Just one more of Elon’s false claims about me: I never funded anyone for Tesla protests,” Hoffman wrote on 𝕏. “I don’t condone violence. But it’s clear Americans are angry at him – it’s easier to explain away their anger than to accept that actions have consequences.”
Hoffman’s comments ignited opposition for seeming to speak for all “Americans” when these attacks are in pockets of America in key liberal run cities. It is unclear what Hoffman was referring to when he stated, “Just one more of Elon’s false claims about me…”
Recent reports indicate 81% of Americans approved of Musk’s work on DOGE to reduce waste and government spending.
