“Corporate media is dead,” Tucker Carlson launches new network amid disintegrating trust in mainstream media
Tucker Carlson announced the death of corporate media as he launched his new namesake branded media company this month – Tucker Carlson Network. Focused on high-quality video content and exclusive interviews 8 months after the former FOX News star was terminated from his role at FOX in connection to Newscorp’s settlement of a 787 million dollar lawsuit with Dominion Voting Systems. Carlson received a cash infusion of $15MM in an investment from investment banker Omeed Malik’s 1789 Capital.
Carlson launched with a bang, parking mobile billboard trucks outside the headquarters of prominent media companies including the New York Times, MSNBC, CNN, and the Washington Post, proclaiming the network’s new mantra, “Corporate Media Is Dead.”
In the network’s launch video, Carlson’s team called out some of the news media’s biggest blunders over the last couple of years, culminating in a time of growing mistrust in corporate media.
Speaking truth to power
Carlson has been vocal regarding mainstream media’s missteps, blunders, mistakes, and outright lies propagated to the American public. Now he’s doing something about it – speaking the truth without compromise and uncovering truth in interviews with controversial people including Julian Assange, Kid Rock, Kyle Rittenhouse, Alex Jones, and Candice Owens.
In the midst of an election year, Carlson is convinced something big is coming and the media’s role will play an even more important role. “Something big is coming. You can probably feel it. Everyone can feel it. The next 12 months is going to be a wild time, probably unlike you’ve ever seen,” Carlson shared in a video update.
“The guys torching Wendy’s were mostly peaceful. They said that masks worked. They told you the vax was safe. They tried to convince you Russia blew up its pipeline,” said Carlson regarding corporate media outlets in his intro video.
“The corporate media lied too much, and it killed them,” continued Carlson.
Alternative, independent media
The time for Carlson’s network couldn’t come at a better time as Twitter files revealed major government interference in media independence and unbiased reporting. Elon Musk began releasing evidence in December 2022 of major government involvement in the control of what information was allowed on social networks. This begged the question if the government was this involved in Twitter, what were they doing at major news stations and newspapers? One can only imagine. It’s time for a new media.
Bill O’Reilly, who like Carlson was let go from FOX News at the height of his popularity, found his niche in independent media and believes it’s the future of news.
“You know what’s going to be the next huge? Alternative, independent media. And I scampered on over to it.”
Now it seems the rest of the country is indeed catching on, corporate media is dead. Long live, independent, alternative media.
Not surprising none of the major news media even reported the story, much less responded to Carlson’s claims right outside their newsrooms.
