Former Governor, Pastor, and Current U.S. Ambassador to Israel Urges POTUS to Seek God’s Guidance Amid Growing Middle East Tensions
Former Arkansas Governor, pastor, and Current U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee encouraged President Trump to listen for the voice of God as global tensions escalate between Israel and Iran.
President Trump shared the text from Huckabee on Truth Social, calling Huckabee “a Pastor, Politician, Ambassador, and great person.”
In his message to Trump, Huckabee framed the Butler, PA near-death experience not as a coincidence, but as divine providence. “Mr. President, God spared you in Butler PA to be the most consequential President in a century—maybe ever,” Huckabee wrote. “The decisions on your shoulders I would not want to be made by anyone else.”
While acknowledging the multitude of voices advising Trump on the current Iran-Israel conflict in the Middle East, Huckabee reminded the former president: “You have many voices speaking to you, Sir, but there is only ONE voice that matters. HIS voice.”
The message comes at a critical juncture as concerns grow over Iran’s nuclear ambitions and increased regional instability. Israel remains on high alert, and speculation is mounting over what steps the United States may take. President Trump cut his G7 visit to Canada short to return to the White House late last night.
President Trump has called for “Unconditional Surrender” by Iran leadership, and stated unequivocally, “We know exactly where the so-called ‘Supreme Leader’ is hiding.” Trump went on to say that he is not going to, “take him out (kill!) him, at least for now.” Previously, Trump advised Iran to make a deal with Israel within 60 days to prevent further escalation. However, Iran has on numerous occasions called for the obliteration of Israel and has publicly stated they intend to wipe Israel off the face of the earth.
Huckabee, who served under Trump as his appointed Ambassador to Israel, assured the former president that he remains steadfast in his assignment. “You sent me to Israel to be your eyes, ears, and voice and to be the last one to leave. I will not abandon this post. Our flag will NOT come down!”
Referencing the historic gravity of the current moment, Huckabee added, “No President in my lifetime has been in a position like yours. Not since Truman in 1945.” He emphasized that while he does not seek to pressure Trump or gain access to his inner circle, he hopes to encourage him to seek divine wisdom. “I believe you will hear from heaven and that voice is far more important than mine or ANYONE else’s.”
“You did not seek this moment,” Huckabee concluded. “This moment sought YOU! It is my honor to serve you.”
The message has resonated deeply with many in the faith-based community, viewing Huckabee’s exhortation as a prophetic word in a time of mounting uncertainty. With the world watching and America bracing for potentially historic decisions, voices like Huckabee’s are reminding leaders—and citizens alike—that the path forward may depend not just on politics, but on prayer and the Lord’s divine intervention.
