“There can be no coexistence with this violence. There can be no tolerating it, no accepting it, no excusing it, and no ignoring it.”
President Donald J. Trump shared a clip this week of a past speech he made condemning terrorism across the globe and calling on every nation to stand for peace. The faith of Trump was on display as he called on people of faith to condemn without question the horrors and atrocities done in the “name of God.” Trump made it abundantly clear that terrorists are misusing the name of God and are instead worshipping death.
“Every time a terrorist murders an innocent person and falsely invokes the name of God, it should be an insult to every person of faith. Terrorists do not worship God, they worship death…”
The footage was published amid some news outlets reporting a “backlash” for Trump saying Israel was unprepared for this attack. FACT CHECK: This is a true statement considering terrorists breached their border and attacked civilians. Secondly, Trump called Hezbollah “smart.” His statement in no way endorsed or praised a terror group, but warned Israel and the nations to be prepared that they are smart in warfare, and not an enemy to be taken lightly. It’s clear that other news outlets are taking the comments out of context and attempting to give the former president and GOP frontrunner bad press. Interestingly these same news outlets gloss over the fact that the current president is funding the terror through his upside-down deals with Iran. Further to this point, the world and America under Trump were the safest and most peaceful they have ever been. ISIS which grew in strength and numbers under Obama, was completed annihilated under Trump, never heard of again. Under Biden and Obama, the complete opposite. Terrorism is spreading rampantly. Wars are breaking out in Ukraine, Russia, Israel. China is threatening Taiwan. Iran is funding terror. And Biden is using taxpayer money to make obscene deals with Iran.
“If we do not stand in uniform condemnation of this killing, then not only will we be judged by our people, not only will we be judged by history, but we will be judged by God.”
