Thanking God for our fallen heroes
As we reflect on this Memorial Day, we thank God for those who gave up their lives and laid them down so the rest of us could live free.
John 15:13 says, “No greater love than this that a man lay down his life for his friends.”
Jesus being the ultimate fulfillment of this statement while men and women throughout history have followed the powerful principle of sacrifice of one’s own comfort that others may benefit.
Today, we salute and thank God for those who have gone ahead of us and paved a way for our freedom. Today, we are reminded to defend, protect, and cherish the freedom’s we have in this nation and are forever grateful to the men and women who have served this great country of the United States of America.
