“I met him at Dr. Charles Stanley’s funeral in 2023,” Graham wrote. “I know that he and his family would appreciate your prayers as he is in critical condition.”
Swaggart, founder of the Family Worship Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, rose to national prominence in the 1980s with his fiery preaching style, gospel music, and televised crusades that reached millions of viewers around the world.
