Ben Watson is taking a stand for life. After all, he has four boys and three girls. He is a committed husband, father, and Christian. The former New England Patriot, and New Orleans Saints tight end is using his platform as an influencer to bring pro-life, pro-God, and pro-family views to the mainstream with incredible grace and success.
As an author and now activist for the things God cares about, Watson is intentional about being in his kids’ lives and setting an example off the field just like he did on the field.
“We need to as parents set priorities. We are going to attempt to keep certain things sacred, like dinner time and Sundays as much as we can,” he told Russell Moore on The Russell Moore Show.
Lately, his family values are influencing thousands through the platform he’s developed online and offline. ,
Back in January, he challenged via Twitter a pro-choice pastor about not standing up for life and for truth, calling
Reverend Raphael Warnock out for his duplicity and hypocrisy.
Is a patient’s room too small for a child as well?
76% of women in those rooms say they would prefer to parent if circumstances were different

Most recently he called Stacey Abrams out for deciding to follow the opinion of a friend over the actual word of God. Though not popular within the Twitter-mob verse as he faced attack after attack in the comments, his bold stance for faith is inspiring thousands who may not troll the internet to start fights like most Twitter users, nonetheless agree with Watson and love, protect, and honor life.
Respectfully if you identify as a Christian your authority is the Word of God not the opinion of a friend who shares your faith. This ad conveys empathy but it also conveys baseless compromise. If your holy scripture sanctions abortion as it does love/justice/charity explain how https://t.co/B6kw1BjFh5

Sports Spectrum reported, “I’m a Christian, and as a Christian, that is who I am,” Watson told CNN. “It’s not just something that kind of goes alongside, so my beliefs as a Christian influence everything that I care about, influence everything that I do. It is not only a code of ethics, but the Bible talks about how we’ve transformed inside out so we’re actually a new person. … I am not tied to being a Republican, I am not tied to being a Democrat, I’m not tied to being anything, I’m tied to looking at specific issues on their own merit … ultimately, the truth of the word of God is what I make those decisions based on, and sometimes that’s against what I feel.”
In February 2021, he took his faith and action one step further with the release of his documentary film covering the abortion debate, “Divided Hearts of America.”
The film is structured around a series of more than 30 interviews with Americans holding opinions from all over the political and social spectrum.
When questioned about his motivation for the film, Watson describes his goal as “… to unveil the truth about abortion, the laws, the history and where our country is headed. I believe in the sanctity of life, be it in the womb or on your deathbed. That’s my conviction. But with the film, I’ll engage those who disagree and hear their reasoning. The No. 1 thing I’m looking for is empathy on both sides.”
