Since taking the helm as Speaker of the House, Rep. Kevin McCarthy took the opportunity to fact-check what happened at the Capitol building on January 6th and the results may shock you.

FOX News host Tucker Carlson, and his team reviewed the footage extensively and revealed earlier this month the video footage reveals is not a break-in of the Capitol Building as some described it. But at least one example shows security staff escorting people in the Senate chamber, not resisting, not fighting, but rather welcoming guests and helping them and opening locked doors to make it possible.

Carlson asked, “If he was in fact committing such a grave crime, why didn’t the officers who were standing right next to him place him under arrest?” The point is well taken as the footage reveals a concerted effort to condemn Trump supporters and discredit them.

The specific example the footage and Carlson’s reporting focuses on is that of Jacob Chansley, a Navy veteran famous as the “QAnon Shaman,” according to liberal media. According to FOX, “Carlson reported that officers showed Chansley around, even trying to open locked doors for him. At one point, at least nine police officers were seen in close proximity to Chansley, and none of them slowed him down, as Carlson noted.”

Carlson called out the liberal fake news reporting as lies and more lies, calling the reporters and anchors and media cos. “liars” for reporting a false narrative around the day’s events.

“They lied about the police officer they claimed to revere,” Carlson said. “If they were willing to do that, then their dishonesty knew no limits.”
