Campaign Highlights Abortion Pill Reversal Protocol
A new national public service announcement campaign launched this week to increase awareness of Abortion Pill Reversal (APR), a protocol that has already helped save more than 8,000 lives worldwide.
The campaign, featuring 15- and 30-second video PSAs, directs women who have taken the first abortion pill (mifepristone) but changed their minds to abortionpillreversal.com for immediate, 24/7 professional help.
The initiative aims to close a critical information gap by informing women that reversal using progesterone is possible if started quickly, before taking a second abortion pill.
“Too often, women are told the story ends once the abortion pill is taken,” said Nelly Roach, CEO of Cogency Strategic. “This campaign ensures they know support and help are available right away.”
Jor-El Godsey, President of Heartbeat International, which runs the Abortion Pill Rescue Network, added: “Women deserve the chance to change their mind. More than 8,000 lives have been saved because no woman should be forced to finish an abortion she no longer wants.”
The free PSAs are available now for broadcasters, digital platforms, churches, and pro-life groups to help reach women in the moments that matter most.
