Free Six-Week Program Offers Biblical Perspectives on Key Societal Debates
A recent national survey revealed that 60% of evangelicals reported their faith did not influence their vote in the 2022 midterm elections. Additionally, Barna research indicates only 4% of Americans maintain a Biblical worldview, highlighting a pressing need for Biblical clarity among Christians on key societal issues. My Faith Votes, a ministry dedicated to mobilizing Christians to participate in all elections, both national and local, aims to restore Biblical truths in American communities and the nation at large.
In preparation for the November election, My Faith Votes has launched Think Biblically, a free, engaging video series designed to equip Christian voters with a clearer understanding of cultural issues through a Biblical lens. This six-week series invites participants to watch videos, engage in discussions, and align their cultural perspectives with Biblical teachings. Each module, led by an expert, delves into significant cultural topics and helps Christians navigate these issues from a Biblical viewpoint.
Faith must shape Christian’s politics
My Faith Votes CEO Jason Yates emphasizes the importance of faith guiding political views. “Christians must let their faith shape their politics, confronting today’s cultural challenges with Biblical principles.”
After discovering that at least 1/3 Christians don’t vote consistently with their professed faith, Yates knew the time for action is now.
“Rejecting apathy and thinking Biblically about contemporary issues is crucial, and this series serves as the perfect resource for Christians to approach every political matter grounded in the Word,” said Yates, a former business executive.
Mobilizing 1.5 million Christians to vote biblically
The goal is to boost Christian voter turnout and combat electoral apathy in the crucial upcoming elections. The goal – mobilize 1.5 million Christians to vote in crucial states nationwide, particularly focusing on those less likely to vote otherwise.
“It’s time Christians let their faith guide their politics — aligning their views with God’s Word and boldly confronting today’s cultural challenges,”
Contributors to the project include Gov. Mike Huckabee, Honorary National Chairman; Sealy Yates, Chairman of the Board; and Lt. Col. Allen West, National Spokesperson.
Together, their collective effort ensures that informed Christians bring their convictions to the public arena and mobilize millions to do their duty as believers and vote on November 5.
