This Move May Revolutionize Church Outreach Ministry
Gloo, a leading technology platform dedicated to uniting the faith ecosystem, has announced the successful acquisition of Outreach, Inc. This partnership is set to expand the range of ministry resources available to over 200,000 churches on both Gloo and Outreach platforms.
A Strategic Move for Ministry Resources
The acquisition of Outreach, Inc., a Colorado Springs-based company known for equipping churches and ministries with a wide array of physical and digital products, marks a significant step forward for Gloo. Outreach’s offerings include best-in-class journalism, marketing resources, and church engagement capabilities.
“We are excited to officially welcome Outreach into the Gloo family,” said Scott Beck, CEO of Gloo. “We have long appreciated Outreach’s pioneering approaches to providing high-quality resources, tools, and content to ministry leaders. Integrating Outreach’s offerings into Gloo while providing more connection to Outreach’s core strategies will help us collectively serve the Church in new and transformative ways.”
Enhancing Ministry Connections
This acquisition establishes Gloo as one of the largest aggregators of church and ministry products, enabling it to broaden its resource offerings in its marketplace to over 70,000 churches on its platform. The collaboration is already bearing fruit, with select Outreach products available for sale in the Gloo Marketplace. Outreach’s New Mover program has also been featured in the recent launch of the Gloo+ membership program.
“Our work with Gloo is already helping us in our mission to equip the Church to reach people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ,” said Scott Evans, who continues as CEO of Outreach. “This partnership allows us to do so in more accelerated, comprehensive ways and marks a new chapter for Outreach where we can amplify the many ways we can serve leaders.”
Synergies and Innovations
The synergy between Gloo and Outreach is evident in their combined digital and physical capabilities. Outreach’s significant printing services, large-format production, and product storage and fulfillment capabilities, based in Colorado Springs, complement Gloo’s technological innovations. For example, the integration of Outreach’s New Mover direct mail service with Gloo’s SMS messaging has created a seamless experience for new families to discover and plan a visit to a church via text messaging.
Both organizations will continue to operate independently from their respective headquarters in Colorado, ensuring a seamless transition and uninterrupted service to the people and organizations they serve.
