Dr. Phil says family is under attack with false idols
Dr. Phil McGraw is all about dealing with real people, real problems, and coming up with real solutions. Now he’s taking his philosophy of helping people from daytime to primetime, with the launch of his new show and media company. After 21 seasons on CBS, Dr. Phil and his wife Robin have relocated from sunny California to Texas and is inviting viewers to engage with them on their new primetime show.
A new partnership with TBN
Dr. Phil has always listened to his audience to determine what type of show and problems people are dealing with and that’s going to stay the same. Phil and his wife Robin visited with TBN recently to share the news, take a stand against the violence in Israel and stand up for family values through television.
“I think America is the greatest country in the history of the world. I love this country. I love it enough to admit there’s problems that need to be worked on,” shared McGraw.
Dr. Phil’s show is the longest-running show in the history of CBS but he knew his time was coming to an end at the network. “I felt like it was time to change my focus somewhat and move in a different direction.”
Now McGraw wants to speak about some of the topics on his heart and mind, and help American families deal with some of the pertinent issues facing families and teens today. “Family in America is under attack. I didn’t know how much more that was going to come true.”
The family is under attack
McGraw shared how the family has been attacked through social media, phones, and the internet.
“Somebody needs to push back against that. Someone needs to stand up and say, ‘What about common sense.’ One of those someones is going to be me,” said McGraw.
Dr. Phil is taking his message to prime-time audiences now and is hoping his voice of reason will help America come back to common sense and make America an amazing place to live again.
“I believe we need to return to some fundamental values that are key to supporting families in America and values that have made this country a success over 250 years.”
