Worshippers respond, “You can’t stop the move of God.”
In a baseless attack by certain liberal leaning “faith leaders” along with support from the “Editorial Board” of the Idaho Statesman newspaper, a group of Christian worshippers led by Sean Feucht are being labeled as “dangerous” for bringing worship and praise to state capitols across America. A group of liberal “leaders” signed the letter published by the Western States Center, and sent it to elected officials, warning the elected officials that Feucht and thousands of worshippers were partaking in “anti-LGBTQ+ sentiments.” The reality is the group is simply exercising their First Amendment rights to speech and to worship.
Next, in an effort to accuse the ministry of something to back its baseless claims, the letter went so far as to say the worship ministry expressed, a “willingness to court political violence across our region and the country.” The baseless claims cited the example of Feucht hiring security at the worship events as BLM and Antifa rioters caused mayhem, spread fear, ruin their music gear, and stole their instruments. The ministry on the other hand called on worshippers to love Jesus, to be involved in the political process, to vote, and to use their 1st amendment-protected free speech to speak up against what is contrary to the word of God.
The letter continues by quoting an audience member asking about using guns in response to Charlie Kirk questioning election integrity. How dare anyone question the unbelievable lead of President Donald J. Trump over Joe Biden and then suddenly the next morning Biden had almost miraculously taken the lead!
The letter was addressed to Oregon, Washington, and Idaho elected leaders.
Feucht responded on X.com, clarifying the role of the church and its relationship to government.
“The purpose behind the “separation of church and state” was to keep the GOV’T OUT OF THE CHURCH not the opposite. The church has ALWAYS influenced the government. The US Capitol used to be a church for crying out loud! Learn some American history people.”
And shared a laugh about protestors trying to stop the move of God.
“It’s was comical to watch these pathetic protestors in the Pacific Northwest squirm while witnessing a church that would not be bullied, silenced or backed into a corner. Thousands upon thousands showed up to worship God with boldness and passion! A new season in America”
And again,
“You can’t stop the move of God.”
