Founder sharing her story with the world in upcoming film
She may be best known as the creator of the massively tasty and incredibly successful Auntie Anne’s Pretzels, but now Anne Beiler, co-founder with her husband Jonas of Auntie Anne’s is sharing a new flavor with the world. This time it’s her own personal journey of healing and freedom, so others can find the same joy.
Faith and success
Though Anne and her husband Jonas sold the company in 2010, their passion for pretzels and people is still evident as Beiler tells her story of faith and success. Since selling the company in 2010, Beiler has morphed into a speaker, writer, and author and now her story is being produced for the big screen. The announcement of the film in the works comes on the 33rd anniversary of Auntie Anne’s pretzels and though no further details at this time are being released, Anne’s enthusiasm was evident as she’s going to be able to tell her story to a bigger audience than ever before.
She’s taking her story and the platform God gave her through the company she founded and helping more people overcome the trauma and abuse that kept her in bondage for so many years. Today the company she founded has revenue estimated at $500MM and has over 1,200 locations worldwide including 600 internationally but through the financial success, Anne found herself in need of Christ in a whole new way.
Sharing story of pain
Anne herself went through the devastating loss of their daughter on their Pennsylvania farm, reached out to her pastor, and then fell into a sexually predatory relationship with him for 7 years. Through her own hurt, loneliness, and brokenness she stayed trapped in a sexually abusive relationship while married to her husband.
In her latest book, The Secret that Lies Within, Anne exposes the lies that keep people in darkness and reminds readers of the power of confession according to James 5:16. It’s this message that her book Twist of Faith shares as well.
Giving hope to those who are stuck in darkness and inviting them into the light. “Many people experience trauma or pain and keep it to themselves, letting it become a secret that holds them captive. They live with pain, blame, and shame, unsure of what to do or how to break free. The secrets grow, causing people to become increasingly silent while they hope and pray for better days, struggling to believe they will ever come.”
In that moment of confession, Anne and her family found freedom and she believes you can too.
“God has a plan and I came along for the ride,” she told 100 Huntley Street.
“Auntie Annes is a modern-day business miracle.”
The creators of those delicious pretzels will open up about their personal stories on the big screens near you. More details to come.
