A No-Holds-Barred Discussion on Free Speech, 2024 Elections, and the State of the Nation

In a highly anticipated interview released last night with Sean Hannity, President Donald Trump and tech mogul and leader of newly formed DOGE (Department of Government Efficiency) Elon Musk shared a candid discussion about their views on the media, leadership, and the political landscape in America today. The conversation, filled with humor, serious policy discussions, and personal reflections, provided insight into the growing alliance between the two most influential figures in American politics and business today.

Musk’s Praise for Trump: ‘A Good Man’ Under Relentless Attack

Elon Musk, who has increasingly been at odds with mainstream media and political figures in Washington, did not hold back in his defense of Trump.

“I think President Trump is a good man,” Musk stated. “The president has been so unfairly attacked in the media. It’s really outrageous.”

He went on to emphasize that, despite spending significant time with Trump, he had never seen him act in a mean-spirited or cruel manner. Hannity echoed this sentiment, pointing out the relentless media attacks Trump has endured for decades.

“I’ve known him for 30 years,” Hannity said. “I’ve never seen anybody take as much as he’s taken.”

Trump’s Endorsement and the Assassination Attempt

The conversation took a serious turn when discussing Trump’s endorsement of Musk’s work, with Hannity noting that the recent assassination attempt on Trump seemed to solidify their partnership.

“I was going to endorse him anyway,” Trump remarked. “The day of the assassination attempt just made it even clearer.”

Musk’s Role in Policy Execution: ‘Tech Support for the President’

Musk also shed light on his involvement in ensuring government policies are implemented efficiently. He described his role as providing “tech support” for Trump, particularly in making sure executive orders are properly enforced.

“One of the biggest functions of the team is making sure that the president’s executive orders are carried out,” Musk said. He pointed to issues like taxpayer-funded luxury hotels for illegal immigrants, emphasizing that such policies continue even when Trump has issued orders to stop them.

“If the bureaucracy is fighting the will of the people and preventing the president from implementing what the people want, then we’re living in a bureaucracy, not a democracy,” Musk warned.

The Media’s Attempt to Divide Trump and Musk

Hannity raised the issue of media efforts to drive a wedge between Musk and Trump, citing constant speculation about their relationship.

“They want a divorce,” Hannity quipped. “They want you to start hating each other.”

Trump, always quick with a response, acknowledged the media’s tactics but dismissed them as ineffective.

“They tried and then they stopped,” Trump said. “They have many different angles of hatred, and this is just another one.”

Musk agreed, adding that he has seen firsthand the media’s attempt to manipulate public perception.

“They’re so bad at it,” Trump concluded. “If they were good at it, I would never have been president.”

A Growing Alliance

The interview underscored the growing camaraderie between Trump and Musk, two figures who have dominated their respective spheres and frequently clashed with the establishment. As Trump and Musk work together to break up the deep state (saving tax-payers billions of dollars) the duo presents a formidable challenge to the status quo. Their conversation with Hannity made one thing clear: they’re not backing down anytime soon.
