Santa Ana-based TTM Technologies has completed a $1.1 billion acquisition aimed at expanding its aerospace and defense business.
TTM Technologies announced Wednesday that it completed its all-cash acquisition of Epiq Solutions, a provider of software-defined radios, radio-frequency products and space-computing technology.
Expanding Advanced Technology Capabilities
Epiq develops open-architecture, AI-enabled software-defined radios and other systems used in applications including signals intelligence, electronic warfare and space computing.
TTM said the deal strengthens its position in the aerospace and defense market and adds a team focused on specialized technologies with long-term growth potential.
A Major Orange County Business Deal
TTM is headquartered in Santa Ana and manufactures mission systems, radio-frequency components, advanced electronics and printed circuit boards.
The company first announced the planned acquisition in August at an approximately $1.1 billion cash purchase price. The transaction has now closed.
