Former Independent Candidate Pledges Support to Trump, Citing Shared Goals

In a surprising turn of events, Independent Presidential Candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. announced today during a national address in Phoenix, Arizona, that he is suspending his campaign for the 2024 presidential election.

Kennedy confirmed that while his name will remain on the ballot in most states where he has qualified, he will remove his name from contention in approximately ten key battleground states to avoid acting as a spoiler. “In about 10 battleground states where my presence would be a spoiler,” Kennedy stated, “I will remove my name and urge voters not to vote for me.”

In his speech, Kennedy outlined the key factors that led to his decision. He cited the overwhelming censorship, media blackout, and legal challenges that prevented his message from reaching a broad segment of the electorate. Additionally, he pointed to the fact that many of his core issues have now been embraced by former President Donald Trump.

Kennedy May Join Trump Cabinet

“Last summer, it looked like no candidate was willing to negotiate a quick end to the Ukraine war, tackle the chronic disease epidemic, protect free speech and restore our Constitutional freedoms, clean corporate influence out of government, or defy the Neocons and their agenda of endless military adventurism,” Kennedy said. “But now, one of the two candidates has adopted these issues as his own, to the point where he has asked to enlist me in his administration to tackle those issues. I am speaking, of course, of Donald Trump.”

Kennedy emphasized the existential threat posed by these critical issues and declared his intention to join President Trump’s cabinet to address them directly.

He concluded his address with a poignant call for unity: “Ultimately, the only thing that will save our children and our country is if we choose to love them more than we hate each other.”
