Perhaps no one in modern times has done more to advance the cause of Christ in the nations than Youth With A Mission founder Loren Cunningham. Founder of the world’s largest mission organization, mobilizing 30,000+ young people a year into global missions, Cunningham and co. has brought the gospel to literally every nation on earth including some of the remotest parts of the earth. Today, co-founder Loren Cunningham is in one of the biggest battles of his life with stage 4 cancer, and yet, he is committed to finishing well and enjoying miraculous energy.

YWAM took a minute to update friends of the ministry and shared Cunningham is enjoying a miracle dose of energy and anointing even amid stage 4 cancer.

“As you are probably aware, Loren was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer. However, by the grace of God, he is committed to “finish well” and is enjoying a miracle dose of energy and anointing to share his passion with key influencers in regard to getting the Bible translated orally into every Mother Tongue on earth. His vision is fueled by the picture in heaven of “every nation, tribe, people and LANGUAGE” around the throne of God in Rev 7:9.”

Friends and those touched by the ministry are invited to send emails and photos of encouragement from 60 years of ministry to share with the Cunningham family.

“Many people have been sending in their recollections of time spent with the Cunninghams around the world over the past 60 years…and their personal testimonies of God’s transforming work in their lives. Loren and Dar thoroughly enjoy reading through these emails, which give such glory to God and validate His call on thousands of lives.”

The ministry, headquarters in Kona, Hawaii, has 2,000 locations in 191 countries. Recently Michael W. Smith and Franklin Graham stopped by the base in Hawaii on the way to Vietnam to offer encouragement and pray with the students.

CBN reports Cunningham is known as the “Six Million Mile Man” and the first Christian missionary to travel to every nation, dependent country, and more than 150 islands, territories, and 400+ geo-political areas for the sake of the gospel.
