When the going gets tough, the tough get going. Former University of Kentucky swimming champion Riley Gaines is proving her courage amid persecution for standing for women’s rights. The swimmer took a stand, defending women’s sports and pushing back against trans-men wanting to compete against women in women’s sports. This culminated last week in physical violence against her on the campus of San Francisco State University, catapulting Gaines into the limelight representing the views of 99% of Americans.

Gaines is speaking out amidst the attack she endured at San Francisco State University last week and is mobilizing a united response among conservative Americans. Her following and influence is gaining momentum.

In response to the attacks, San Francisco State University sent a memo out to students praising them for the “peaceful protest”, yet video footage clearly showed a physical assault on Gaines.

“The prisoners are running the asylum at SFSU…I was ambushed and physically hit twice by a man. This is proof that women need sex-protected spaces. Still only further assures me I’m doing something right. When they want you silent, speak louder.”

The attack on Gaines has launched the swimmer into the national spotlight as the leader in the fight to protect women’s sports and thousands are supporting her. GOP Republicans, with Gaines’ support, are pushing a new bill to protect women’s sports.

“As an athlete who has experienced the injustice of competing against a male firsthand, I’m grateful for the leadership of Representative Steube,” Gaines shared. “He has made it clear that he will fight for fairness, privacy, and safety for girls and women in sports.”

House Republicans are pushing back against the agenda of progressives seeking to undermine the stability in our nation and the experience of children in this nation.

“The policies of the woke, progressive Left have invaded schools and campuses across America,” Rep. Greg Steube who introduced the bill said in March. “Allowing biological males on women’s sports teams and in their locker rooms creates an unfair competitive environment for female athletes.”

Almost all Democrats oppose the bill, while almost every Republican is sure to support it.
