Rolling Stone Magazine attacks Rabbi Jonathan Cahn with hit piece

By THRiVE! News 2 Min Read

Jonathan Cahn is the popular Rabbi, author, and writer of numerous NY Times bestselling books including, Return of the Gods, The Josiah Manifesto, and many more. Now Rolling Stone is targeting the Jewish Rabbi even as Jews around the world are experiencing anti-semitism at an unprecedented level. The sensationalized story in the music magazine published the headline and subtitle:

MAGA Messianic Rabbi Blames Hamas Violence on Israeli Indifference to Jesus – Jonathan Cahn, a star on the religious right, says only belief in the “Prince of Peace” can protect Israel

Rolling Stone writer takes aim at the Rabbi

Writer Tim Dickinson takes aim at the Rabbi, attempting to discredit the Rabbi’s message and popular books. Dickinson criticizes Cahn’s message, calling it condemnable content, though extremely popular with millions of views, sales, and subscribers. Then Rolling Stone focuses on a short segment of his recent sermon and sensationalizes it into a message of rebuke to the Jewish people for not accepting their Messiah.

Cahn responded in a 30-minute video, going line by line and refuting Dickinson’s claims.

“This is a perfect example of the Joseph Goebbels’ school of journalism. That’s Hitler’s minister of propaganda.”

Charisma Publishing responds

Charisma, Cahn’s publisher also responded to the hit piece by Rolling Stone writing, “The article’s very first word, “MAGA,” is a loaded term designed to pigeonhole Rabbi Cahn and tarnish his message. The left hates Donald Trump, and will try to disparage his base of followers in any way they can. Cahn teaches about the Word of God and the importance of Jesus as the Messiah, which is inherently Christian and rooted in biblical truth. Associating him with “MAGA” is an attempt to marginalize his views and delegitimize his faith, simply because Rabbi Cahn prayed with Donald Trump at Mar-a-Lago.”
