Los Angeles Mission pastor and CEO shares story on GMA

Los Angeles Mission Pastor & CEO shared his story on Good Morning America, and the reactions are pouring in. The emotionally moved Pastor, Troy Vaughn, an ordained Assemblies of God Pastor and leader of the influential mission in downtown LA, opened up about his journey from Skid Row to CEO. 

After being homeless, addicted, and living on the streets for seven years, Vaughn sought help in a faith-based recovery program. “It’s only by the grace of God and the love of many people that makes this possible.”

“It’s so honoring for me to be chosen for this moment in time,” said Vaughn reflecting on the importance of working together to help the homeless

Vaughn shared his vision of working with the community to develop innovative ideas to address the homeless epidemic in Los Angeles. 

“I’m so grateful for you guys shedding a light on this important topic…Be involved in the change you want to see.”
