Actor to help people go deeper in their faith this Christmas season

Renowned actor, Liam Neeson, is partnering with Hallow, the prayer and meditation app for advent devotionals this Christmas season based on the writings of C.S. Lewis and he’s inviting you to join him.

The actor famous for roles in action-packed movies including The Taken series of films, among dozens of others, shares that this is a special project he is excited to share with people and to experience the wonder of Christmas with the community.

“This is something I am really excited to share with people,” shared Neeson in an interview with The Chosen actor, Jonathan Roumie. “I’ll be going through meditations from C.S. Lewis. The content is pretty incredible,” continued Neeson. He explained it’s a Christmas Advent challenge that Hallow and Neeson are inviting people to be a part of these beautiful meditations meant to help people grow in their faith, what it means to love, and learn to let go.

“It’s about helping us grow in our faith this holiday season,” explained Neeson.

Neeson shared his own experience with prayer and specifically how meditative, repeating prayer takes you deeper in your faith and its meaning. Neeson hopes people engage in their faith, wonder, and childlikeness this holiday season, something he believes we all need to regain this season.

“My hope would be that people who join us will find a little more hope and peace in their lives. I’d also say this theme in the passages we go through on the importance of regaining a sense of wonder. We’re all called to be a bit more childlike I think. Christmas is a wonderful time to strive to regain that and that sense of wonder.”

Neeson described a passage written by Lewis on love as his favorite and it spoke deeply to the actor.
