World famous wrestler surrenders to Jesus in baptism

Renowned WWE wrestler, Terry Bollea, better known as, Hulk Hogan, and his new wife, Sky Daily (married this year) were baptized this weekend at Indian Rocks Baptist Church in Largo, Florida indicating that Hogan and his wife both had surrendered to the Lordship of Jesus.

“Total surrender and dedication to Jesus is the greatest day of my life,” wrote Hogan on his Instagram account. “[easy-tweet tweet=”No worries, no hate, no judgment… only love!” user=”@thrivenewsco” hashtags=”#faith #love #HulkHogan”]

Hogan and Daily were both dressed in white, with Hogan wearing his signature bandana and large gold cross necklace. Hogan and Daily both appear touched and joyful as they fully emerge into the waters of baptism and come out anew. The moment was caught on film along with stills posted to Hogan’s Instagram account on Wednesday.

Baptism has been an integral part of the Christian faith for over 2,000 years symbolizing inward transformation through the outward symbolic act.

Hogan is known for his 12-time WWE championships but he also shared that he has known the Lord since he was just 14, and was happy to come back to the Lord this weekend in baptism. Hogan announced his marriage to Daily in September 24, writing on Instagram, “My new life starts now.” This is Hogan’s third marriage.

Hogan previously has shared the meaning of faith in his life, how as a teen boy, Hogan had accepted Christ in his life. Now at 70, Hogan is committing afresh to follow the way of Jesus. Hogan wrote on X in April, “I accepted Christ as my savior at 14yrs old, and the training, prayers and vitamins kept me in the game but now that I am one with God, the main event theme of surrender, service and love makes me the Real Main Event that can slam any giant of any size through the power of my Lord and Savior and so it is, even now brother, AMEN!”

Indian Rocks Baptist is led by Senior Pastor Aaron Filippone.
