Did Kanye just compare himself to Moses?

By THRiVE! News 2 Min Read

Kanye West is a lot of things, but in his most recent Instagram post, the rapper, designer, and business mogul appears to compare himself to the great deliverer of Israel, Moses as he opens a new Christian school in Simi Valley, CA.

West posted on his Instagram story, “No one asked Moses how much he slept” in white letters over a black backdrop. The story soon expired after 24 hours and was subsequently deleted from the account, but the cryptic post has led many of his fans and followers alike to believe he may be referring to the Christian pre K-12 school the mogul has funded and founded not far from his home in California. Named after the rapper’s mother whose name was Donda and who passed away in 2007 – Donda Academy seeks to provide a top notch education, focused on small classes, quality education, faith-based curriculum and strong emphasis on writing. Donda is also the name of Kanye’s tenth studio album in 2021, with distribution handled by Def Jam Recordings.
