Riaan Swiegelaar received Christ as his Lord and Savior and his story has gone far and wide.

A former South African occult leader has gone viral after coming to faith in Jesus Christ through the witness and love of a journalist.

After conducting an interview and sharing his disbelief in God, the radio host, who he later found out was a Christian, showed him such genuine love and embraced him in such a way that the coldness of his heart began to change.

Riaan Swiegelaar shared about the events leading up to his conversion.

“She came to me after the interview, after I said that, and she hugged me, and she held me in a way that I’ve never been loved. That’s all she did. She just said it was nice to meet me in person.”

That simple act of love was enough for God to plant the seed and then confirmed to Swiegelaar’s heart in a profound way that he just couldn’t deny any longer.

“I did this ritual, and I opened myself up, and Jesus appeared. And I was extremely cocky, and I said, ‘If you are Jesus, you need to prove it.’ And He flooded me with the most beautiful love and energy. And I recognized it immediately because that woman at the radio station showed it to me. That’s how I recognized the love of Christ,” he testified.

Next, Swiegelaar began sharing with his followers on social media that God indeed is everywhere and can show up and meet anyone at any time, as he did in Swiegelaar’s own life.

“I have for a long time believed that I am not worthy of God’s grace,” shared Swiegelaar referring to his former lifestyle as a homosexual, atheist, and the deep hurt and pain he has walked through.

Now, however, Swiegelaar knows that God is at work and has made a believer out of him and he officially resigned the work in the satanic movement in South Africa. It’s clear that he has my gift as an evangelist and is passionate about sharing his faith with the world now.

“Let me tell you something the Kingdom of God is not a gated community, the kingdom of God is open to everybody.”
